Tom Matte (Frmer Colts' great RB) success - 17 September 2011
On 8/17/2011, I sent a card, letter and SASE to Tom Matte, former Baltimore Colts legendary running back. Unfortunately, the only card I have for him is one from his days with the Chargers, but I thought I would send it anyway. He was such a great athlete and made an imposing backfield for the Colts. Probably my third favorite Baltimore Colt of all time. I was stoked when it arrived on 9/16/11 autographed with "Colts" written on it since it was the Chargers card. Am thrilled about this one. If I could just get Mike Curtis, Rex Kern and Ray May, I would have most of the former Colt's defense.
