There was also a note saying that as of March 2015 he was no longer signing TTM. I was incredibly lucky to get him as I had received a rejection back in 2013 due to health issues.

Doug Atkins (Football HOF) Success - 17 November 2014 I received my 1962 Topps card signed by HOF DE Doug Atkins. I also received a note from Mrs. Atkins asking only one request per fan; he is 84 after all.

Doug Atkins (retired NFL DE) - 22 January 2013 Sent this NFL, DE,who played for the Cleveland Browns 1953-54, Chicago Bears 1955-66, New Orleans Saints 1967-69. Pro Football Hall of Fame 1982 a 6 by 8 back on 10-18-12 & got it back on 10-23-12. Here's the addy I used:
