Des Cahill - Irish TV and Radio Star - Success - 21 June 2012 Des Cahill is a popular sports reporter and presenter who works for the Irish state broadcaster RTÃ. He provided the sports bulletins on the Breakfast Show on 2FM Radio. Those bulletins were fondly remembered for the light-hearted banter between Cahill and the show's host, Ian Dempsey. They usually discussed Cahill's support for the Rochdale football team and often described a top soccer team's failure at a match as 'one of them zip-a-dee-doo-dah days'. He now hosts sports bulletins on RTÃ Radio 1 and presents a GAA review show on RTÃ TV.
Sent Mr. Cahill an LOR, SASE and 1 photo sometime in May. Today, I received my photo signed plus a letter saying that 'my letter was better than the complaints'.
