Ty Cline Baseball - 03 décembre 2015 Tyrone Alexander Cline (born June 15, 1939 in Hampton, South Carolina) is a former Major League baseball player, primarily a reserve outfielder and pinch-hitter for the Cleveland Indians (1960â62), Milwaukee Braves (1963â65), Chicago Cubs (1966), Atlanta Braves (1966â67), San Francisco Giants (1967â68), Montreal Expos (1969â70) and Cincinnati Reds (1970â71).
He was instrumental in helping the Reds defeat the Pittsburgh Pirates to win the 1970 National League pennant, tripling and scoring the winning run in the 10th inning of the first game of the National League Championship Series, and scoring the game-winning and pennant-clinching run after an eighth-inning walk in game three.
