The weird part was I sent a new card to him. a mint 1985 Topps Manager card with the White Sox.
I received it back, and some players were "checked" on the back of card, and a hand written "#2" was written on the back.
looks like a little kid got to the card.

Hall of Famer Tony La Russa - 24 mars 2015
I sent a card, LOR and SASE to the Diamondbacks at Chase Field, attn Tony LaRussa on 3/7/15 and received the card back today 3/23/15. I sent the card in a hard plastic top loader, but it came back without it, so I am lucky it didn't get bent.

Tony La Russa Success! (Arizona Diamondback) - 11 février 2015
on 1/28/15 I mailed out a LOR, stamps, envelope and card to current executive of the Arizona Diamondback and former manager Tony La Rusaa as the Diamondback address in the database. Today 2/10/15, I received my card back signed in a blue sharpie. Awesome as I add a new HOF'er to my collection.
