A Christmas Story - 10 août 2015 Melinda Rose Dillon (born October 13, 1939) is an American actress, perhaps best known for her roles as Jillian Guiler in Close Encounters of the Third Kind and the mother of Ralphie Parker in A Christmas Story. Sent her 2 photos on 24 July and got both back signed (sort of) on 10 Aug.. She only signed her first name on each photo.. she also sent a postcard with a scene from A Christmas Story of the family eating at the Chop Suey Palace Co. ( specialize in Chinese Turkey).. but again, she only signed her first name on the front.. but on the back is a recipe for Chinese Rice Stuffing.. No idea why she only signs her first name.. Melinda Dillon (CE3K, Christmas Story, Slapshot) SUCCESS! - 22 mai 2012 Mailed out an autograph request and fan letter a week or so ago to Melinda Dillion as part of my Birthday Project (October 13th). I received a response yesterday. She signed 1/1 a 5x7 Close Encounters photo and wrote a nice note on a couple of her index cards in response to my questions.
