I sent a 8x10 photo to Jimmy Carter about 3 months ago got it back signed today. I used address in the database very happy about this one. Now going to try Bill Clinton next.

Hi! 
About two months ago I sent a letter to the Office of former US-President James Earl Carter Jr. Two days ago I got the response. I received his authentic signature on his offical paper (Great Seal of the United States and under it stands Jimmy Carter) ...JCarter.

Jimmy Carter Success - 02 août 2011
Hello all,
After a bit of a drought, I got back a photo signed by former president Jimmy Carter!! I sent the photo off 5-3-11 and received it back today 8-1-11. Very nice to get a president! Also, a few days ago, I picked up one of his books (sadly) at the 99 cent store...I thought that was a great pick-up and I think I'll send it out to him soon! Thanks for looking!

Jimmy Carter Success! - 19 juillet 2011
Jimmy Carter is a US politician and Nobel Peace Prize winner. Hes easily my favorite president, and I have some of his books. It wouldve been neat to get one of the books signed, but since he only signs certain items, I decided to send him a photo from his presidency.
On April 23, 2011, I sent him a letter of request, an 8.5" x 11" photo, and a SASE. Today, on July 19, 2011, I received my photo signed by President Jimmy Carter! The signature is "J Carter" as opposed to his full signature, but I dont mind a bit!

Sent SASE and index card to the address in the database about a month ago. Today I received a letter back containing my SASE and index card. Also in the letter was a typed note on his letterhead stating, "This is not something President Carter would sign." What a disappointment! |
