Ed Asner Success! (Pixar Up) (Edward Asner) - 08 juillet 2013
I sent a drawing out of Mr. Fredricksen from the Pixar film Up on the 6/27 and got it back today 7/8. Just a great success and will always be my favorite one. I told him that me and my nephew love the movie and he would love it that I got a response back from THE Mr. Fredricksen. He wrote a note saying "Kyle, this is great art! And you can tell your nephew I said so! Best of life". The note makes it even more special. If you can send to him, do so, you wont be disappointed.

sent 2 8X10 and 1 5X7. all received back signed and personalized with very cool inscriptions. he also sent a note answering my question of "was it fun making the mary Tyler moore show". His response "It was 7 years of Joy-Ed".
Very happy with this one.

Our family sent three photos, a LOR, return postage, and a SAE to Ed Asner at the address in the database on May 30th. We received all the photos signed and personalized, as well as our return postage returned (pun intended). Great signer and a wonderful guy.

I sent a SASE, 1 8x10 photo, a fairly long silly fan letter (I felt so weird writing to someone who has been a part of my life since I can remember and a huge part of my childhood you have no idea, it was the equivalent of a stuttering nervous fan girl in letter form, LOL) and a Q&A for him to answer!
I had a piece of cardboard in the envelope but he must have forgot to put it back in when he put the stuff in to mail it back to me, thankfully I had written all over the thing not to bend and it seemed to come back in good condition!
Anyway, he is the NICEST ever and clearly took the time to read my fan letter and look past my unfortunate way of not knowing what on earth I was saying half of the time...because he sent me back another photo. Of him as Santa in Elf. Why? Because I wrote to him that he was one of the top 5 best Santas of all time, in my opinion, and that...it was a difficult task to measure up, because my father really is Santa! (not lying---he looks like Santa.)
