I sent a fan letter and SASE off to Edie McClurg on September 27, 2017 and I got an answer from her on October 10, 2017! She's such a wonderful, if not amusing, character actress and I've seen her many times on TV reruns and she was a trip in Planes, Trains, and Automobiles. The address I used differed from the one in the database and she even put on her own address label (an adorable kitty cat one) and in her message she told thanked me graciously for my remarks and she said to "keep going to the movies and keep the TV on" and signed off, "Lovingly". Such a teddy bear of a gal!

On 6-6-16, I sent a letter, 8x10 and SASE to Edie McClurg. On 6-17-16, I received my photo signed, as well as a 4x6 photo she included with it. She wrote on the small photo, but didn't autograph it, but it was a nice little extra surprise. Adress used:
