David Gates success - 20 juillet 2012 I've been trying unsuccessfully for years to get singer David Gates ttm. Best known for his work with the group Bread, he also had many solo hits in the 1970s and early 1980s. Thanks to an address that was passed along to me, I got a success today. He signed a picture collage and wrote a nice note in reference to my comments about the incredible musicianship of his fellow Bread member, the late Larry Knechtel.
