Chuck Wepner (aka The Bayonne Bleeder) success - 26 février 2012
Sent this former boxer, better known as the Bayonne Bleeder an 8 by 10 of the SI Cover he was on back on 2-9-12 and got it back on 2-22-12. On another note, this was the guy that the Rocky movies were based upon. Here's the addy I used:

Sent Mr. Wepner a letter, Sports Illustrated, Silver Sharpie, SASE on 11/14/11, addressed to: 200 Park Road, Apt. B7, Bayonne NJ 07002. SASE returned 11/21/11, with SI signed and personalized in silver. Mr. Wepner also included his business card (Majestic Wine and Spirits), which states:*Went 15 rounds with Muhammad Ali for World Championship*. Sorry no scanner. |
