Carlos Ray Norris (born March 10, 1940) is an American martial artist, actor, film producer and screenwriter. After serving in the United States Air Force, he competed as a martial artist who won many championships, and has since founded his own school of fighting, Chun Kuk Do. Norris is also a black belt in Brazilian jiu jitsu and Judo.
Norris appeared in a number of action films, such as Way of the Dragon, in which he starred alongside Bruce Lee, Good Guys Wear Black, The Octagon, Lone Wolf McQuade, Code of Silence, the Missing in Action trilogy, and The Delta Force. He played the title role in the television series Walker, Texas Ranger from 1993 until 2001.
Sent him a book that he wrote "The Justice Riders" on 5 Jul and got it back signed on 24 Aug. He signed the book to my friend who will be getting it and he also sent one of his trading cards that he signed to her and included a list titled Chuck's Principles For Life... it is about twice as wide as a book mark.. a few of the things listed are: I will develop myself to the maximum of my potential in all ways... I will always be enthusiastic about the success of others as I am about my own..... I will always remain loyal to God, my country, my family, and my friends..
