Miss Alabama Hayley Barber - Pioneering Success! - 11 décembre 2016 Hayley Barber is the current Miss Alabama. She represented the state at this year's Miss America pageant in Atlantic City, New Jersey. Sent 1 LOR / SASE plus 1 5x7 photo to Ms. Barber on 26/09/2016. On 20/11/2016, I received my photo signed and dedicated. Address used was: Hayley Barber (Miss Alabama 2016) c/o Miss Alabama Pageant 2809 Crescent Avenue - Suite 2 Birmingham, Alabama 35209 USA This is the first time a Miss America contestant who did not win the overall pageant has replied to a fanmail response. (Strangely enough it is also the first time someone from outside the USA, a non-American or a European national has written to a Miss America contestant within the year of her reign.) More importantly, this reply marks the first time that a photo extracted from live video streaming has ever been used in a major fanmail attempt. The photo was extracted by taking a still image of the broadcast image using the Screenshot option on my mobile. I have called this kind of photo a Stream Shot. I viewed the Miss America broadcast in September on ABC (through it's affiliate station in Harrisburg, PA, which I can pick up on Mobdro.) and took some shots of the contestants as they posed on the pier in Atlantic City and in other places around that city (for some reason Miss Rhode Island was not included in the line-up) No scanner.
